In a bid to enhance our commitment to environmental responsibility, Pure Product Australia is proud to announce the gradual phasing out of plastic scoops from our range. This decision aligns with Australia's growing focus on reducing single-use plastics The NSW Government Waste Reduction and Recycling Act 2017.
This legislation aims to reduce single-use plastic waste, and our initiative contributes to this vital environmental objective.
After careful consideration and thoughtful feedback from our cherished customers, we've decided to take a bold step towards a more sustainable future.
The decision to eliminate plastic scoops from our products is a significant move, one that echoes our dedication to minimizing our ecological impact.
The transition away from plastic scoops will be a meticulous process, encompassing changes to our packaging, production procedures, website content, and product instructions. Over the next 12 months, some products will still feature a scoop, while others will not. This is due to the existing stock of original packaging for specific blends, and our commitment to ensuring that each product maintains accurate instructions.
We are actively working to make this transition seamless for all our valued customers. Your support and understanding during this period are invaluable to us.
What to Anticipate
Newly printed packages will no longer include a plastic scoop. Instead, directions for use will be provided in precise weight measurements (grams) and international metric measurements (tsp and tbsp). We have opted for these universally recognized formats to make the measurement of powders more accessible to everyone. Importantly, the serving sizes of our products will remain unchanged; only the method of measurement is evolving.
